Guided Walks

Active Together Walking Project has a whole host of different free walks that run weekly across Lancashire. They are open to all abilities and have different difficulty gradings on all walks to ensure you can select the best walk for you.

A real key benefit from our walking project is the improvement in peoples mental wellbeing. This comes from the social interaction that the walking programme provides.

Our walks

A = Easy, B = Moderate, C = A little more vigorous 

For us to keep within Covid 19 guidelines and to ensure numbers are controlled please pre-book onto your walk by contacting James Kenyon. 

Monday

Two walks, class B and C, both meeting outside Padiham Leisure Centre @ 13:30 each week. These walks will last between 60 and 90 minutes.

Tuesday

Rossendale Roamers walks starting at various locations each week across the Rossendale Valley. Class B and C. Meet at the venue @10am, new walkers please arrive @ 9:50am. These walks will last between 60 and 90 minutes.

Wednesday

Two walks starting at various locations across Burnley each week. Class B and C. Meet at the venue @10am. These walks will last between 60 and 90 minutes.

Thursday

One class A/B walk starting @ 11am. Meet across the road from the Kiddrow Lane Health Centre, Burnley. This walk will last between 45 and 60 minutes.
