I have the pleasure of leading the development and delivery of our Employment & Skills, Youth & Community and Environment programmes in Yorkshire and Humberside. I create links with partners and look at ways we can work in partnership to deliver the best services with the resources we have. I also form partnership to work on commissions and bids which ensure the best services can be delivered in the communities we serve. We pride ourselves on ensuring that with every contact people of all ages have with our team there have the opportunity to experience a positive change in their lives. Whether that is young people re-engaging with school, starting a new job, learning a new skill or getting space to talk about the things that are affecting them most. We always try to look at new ways of working and shape services in response to customer feedback and need. I have worked on several Employment programmes including Talent Match, ESF Works Better partnership, PEAT CLLD (ESF) in Wakefield. I have a long history of youth work delivery and management and am particularly passionate about supporting young people to make informed choices and overcome barriers they have in their lives. I managed a small charity in Huddersfield, led the youth work delivery in centres such as Young Batley and the Orangebox and led the service design & delivery in Kirklees for street based and Mobile Youth Work for 6 years. Newground Together is a really forward thinking organisation and I am really proud to be part of such a passionate and innovative team. The partnership with Together means we can ensure services reach the communities who might benefit the most. Health and wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. I mean, who would have thought signing up to a legislation update service would actually change lives for the better. I am really proud of the team I work with and how we do what we do, I am always keen to speak with others and look at how we might work in partnership together to provide more and make the best use of resources out there for the people who need it most.
