We have an excellent opportunity to join our team working to oversee a transformation of our current learning & accreditation offer for tenants and the wider community. You will be responsible for reviewing the current provision and identifying a strategy for accrediting the inhouse learning moving forward.

The main purpose of this role is:

  1. Take a lead developing a robust system for accredited learning within the Sustainable Communities Division at Newground Together
  2. Identify opportunities and options to implement a Quality Assurance framework for training across all Community programmes. Working with the Employment & Skills, Youth and Community and Great Outdoors Team.
  3. Coordinate the design, implementation and monitoring of an accreditation and quality assurance framework, ensuring it can be reported effectively to funders
  4. Develop the learning and induction programme for volunteers and work placements working closely with the relevant leads
  5. Act as the main contact for Awarding Bodies
  6. To provide support and guidance to teams in developing and enhancing non-accredited and accredited Learning offer within Newground Togethers Outcomes Framework
  7. To work with the Community Programmes Managers & Director to achieve continuous improvement within the team by developing new ideas, seeking out best practice and taking account of feedback

In order to undertake this position, you will require the key skills, knowledge and experience;

  • Experience of engaging staff to work within quality assurance systems to improve teaching, learning and assessment
  • Experience of facilitating and developing training modules and Programmes
  • Experience of supporting organisations to meet the requirements of regulatory regimes e.g. external audit, inspection bodies
  • Level 4 Qualification in Teaching, training or related discipline
  • A full driving license is also required, along with access to your own vehicle insured for business purposes; with travel to our other offices throughout the North of England.
