We are looking for a Digital Engagement Officer who is knowledgeable about a wide variety of social media and Digital platforms. We need someone who can take a creative and dynamic approach to content development and engagement with the people we support. This role is at the heart of our plans moving forward and requires you to collaborate across the teams generating content and increasing our engagement in the virtual world.

This role is responsible for engaging positively with tenants, customers and funders, as well as developing the online interactive engagement and training for online. No two days will be the same and we need someone who is passionate about making a difference.

You will work hand in hand with the team to ensure that we distribute effective, creative & engaging content across our social media and digital platforms. Part of this will require the coaching & upskilling existing team members on their own social media engagement, and how best to engage with the people they support. A significant portion of this will include developing our social media footprint and profile and co-creating virtual learning and development opportunities.

You should;

Be creative and knowledgeable about social media, MS Teams & other interactive Digital platforms

Be driven by a desire to make good things happen with digital methods and change people’s lives, finding and developing relationships with partners who share our vision for a world where everyone benefits from digital, and can help us deliver our strategy

Be an internal champion of brilliant, efficient and quality assured delivery, working with cross-functional teams to deliver projects

Be a source of market intelligence, ‘negotiators’ for partnerships, and the creators of new partnership proposals and concepts, working collaboratively with colleagues from across the organisation.

In order to undertake this role you will require the following skills & experience;

Excellent IT, digital knowledge and be technically proficient

Ability to use Social media management platforms such as Hootsuite

Experience of digital planning and implementation

Able to create clips, write effective posts and blogs

Relevant experience of working with people who need support in a transition to digital services

A sound awareness of digital service delivery and appropriate platforms and technology

Comprehensive knowledge of social media marketing & promotion

Due to the nature of the role you will require an NVQ3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant sector, as well as hold a full driving license, with access to a vehicle insured for business use.
